HUNGER RELIEF MINISTRY
Salem UMC’s hunger ministry is operated in partnership with our sister organization, Salem Community Service Council, Inc. (SCSC), a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit that coordinates and facilitates food programming for Salem UMC and other United Methodist congregations across the Harlem Parish.
Rev. Gavin Rogers
Executive Director
Guided by the mission to provide consistent access to nutritious food while serving every neighbor with dignity, compassion, and love, SCSC leads a network of programs designed to meet urgent food needs while building community and connection across Harlem and New York City.
